Spore Create - Weekend of 2/19/11

Hello people of Spore Create. I had a great weekend and I hope you did too. I recently talked about the cell stage and a friend of mine started talking about the omnivore. He really jumped to conclusions but I thought about it and decided to talk about eating in the cell stage. In the cell stage, you can be a carnivore, herbivore, or an omnivore. You start off with a carnivore and an herbivore mouth. You can break open rocks or kill an animal with the Proboscis. It looks like a small tube that will suck the life out of animals and can eat plants. It is a great way to live because you will never run out of food. As an herbivore, you will eat plants that float around throughout the sea. As a carnivore, you can eat meat that flows around through the sea or eat the meat that comes off the animals you kill. Good Luck!

Creation of the Day - 2/18/11

I always thought this creature as very unique. Somehow, I got the spike thing to float in mid air. It looks like the spike is shooting out of the "guns" on the creature.

Creation of the Day - 2/17/11

This is a guy I created in my free time. He has space parts and I used one of my favorite paint jobs. You use any color black with a spray paint like darker blue. You then put neon light blue dots over it. It came out awesome!

Post - 2/17/11

Hello people of my blog. It is Thursday and I am currently reporting from the computer “Lab.” In this blog, I am going to talk about the first stage of Spore. The Cell Stage is a short but exciting stage in Spore. It is the first stage you will play when you start the game Spore. You star off as a microorganism that is in the sea. You swim around and eat food to grow and advance throughout the stage. You can be a carnivore, omnivore, or an herbivore. The different eating habits have different effects throughout the whole entire game. There are only 6 different parts you can collect but each part has its own special trait or ability. You can collect them by hitting these rocks you can find floating throughout the ocean or by attacking and killing a cell with the part you want.  You must eat to advance to the next stage, the creature stage. Once you first get the game, you have to play the stages in order. Obviously starting with the cell stage. If you don’t like the cell stage, don’t worry because it doesn’t last very long. I’d estimate 5-15 minutes. Enjoy the cell stage!
